Homebrew Hero is an app for home brewers — AI recipe help, automatic fermentation scheduling, a Popular Clones library, kit-box scanning, and Hero, an AI troubleshooter for the "is this mould?!" moments. Every account that signs into the app during closed testing automatically gets 6 months of Power User access, completely free — no code needed, it unlocks the moment you sign in. That's full AI recipe generation and tweaks, unlimited fermenters, the full Popular Clones library, Hero, and the brewer forum, normally £10.99/month (worth over £65).

What we need from you

Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later. The app isn't available for older Android versions.
Complete at least one brew — kit, all-grain, or wine, your choice — within your first month, starting from the day you install.
Use the app consistently for your first 14 days. This is what actually keeps you counted as an active tester on Google's side — realistically that means opening the app every couple of days and doing something in it (checking a brew, logging a reading, ticking off a schedule step), not just installing it once and forgetting about it.
Give us honest feedback on what worked, what didn't, and what confused you, when we ask for it.

Before you apply, please confirm: I have an Android device running Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later. I'm willing and able to complete at least 1 brew (kit, all-grain, or wine) within my first month of testing, starting from the day I install. I'll use the app consistently during my first 14 days, rather than installing it once and leaving it idle. I'll provide honest feedback on my experience when asked.

I understand that if Google deems I haven't engaged enough during the testing period to be classed as an active tester, my access to premium features will be removed immediately.
